My Second Month at Succarra

As my second month working at Succarra begins, I have made new observations about this particular workplace. I am not sure if it’s the horrible heat wave that has hit NYC or the fact that our air conditioning does not always work in the office that makes people irritable but I have noticed that sometimes people in the office do not get along so well. Working in the fashion world can be tough and at times people have trouble dealing with all of their responsibilities. Fortunately, the interns (myself and two other girls) are always there to help out with whatever anyone needs. This week was a short one since most people are taking off for the Holiday Weekend so it was nice that we all only had to work until Wednesday afternoon. This week’s tasks included emailing clients that needed to return overdue samples back to our showroom, tagging new items for the upcoming Fall season, and working on updating our client and blog lists. It seems to me that as the weeks go by more and more people here trust me to help out with anything that they need. I am extremely comfortable working here and look forward to the rest of my internship.
